Welcome to ReCreateMe. I’m Brandi Ford, a licensed cosmetologist, seamstress, theatrical wig/wardrobe artist, makeup artist, and creative maker based in South Georgia.
My work has never fit neatly into one box. I’ve spent more than a decade working with hair and beauty, while my professional theater experience has taken me behind the scenes in wigs, wardrobe, makeup, costumes, quick changes and creative problem-solving. Along the way, I’ve also built props, created characters, designed costumes and headpieces, and brought creative experiences to festivals, events and private clients.
That mix of experience is what ReCreateMe is all about: transformation.
Sometimes that means a new haircut or color. Sometimes it’s altering a dress so it fits beautifully, styling a wig for the stage, building an unusual costume piece, creating a character, or figuring out how to make an idea work when there isn’t an instruction manual.
Professional & Theatrical Experience
My work in professional theater has given me the opportunity to provide wig, wardrobe and makeup support for touring productions, concerts and live entertainment, including work associated with artists such as Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Justin Timberlake and Nicki Minaj.
My theatrical credits include productions such as Hamilton, Wicked, The Lion King, Jersey Boys, Chicago and many more.
